Step-by-Step Removal

Check your listing type

Visit the Spamhaus IP & Domain Lookup tool at check.spamhaus.org. Enter your IP or domain to identify which specific list (SBL, XBL, PBL, CSS) you appear on. Each has a different removal process.

Fix the underlying issue

Before requesting removal, you must resolve the problem. For SBL: stop sending spam and secure compromised accounts. For XBL: patch the exploit or malware on your server. For PBL: configure your mail server to send through your ISP's relay. For CSS: review your sending practices.

Request removal via the self-service portal

Go to check.spamhaus.org, look up your IP, and click the removal link next to your listing. Follow the form instructions. SBL removals are reviewed by a human. XBL and CSS removals are automated if the issue is resolved.

Monitor after removal
